In 2025, the REDC team worked hard to support New Hampshire entrepreneurs through alternative funding, technical assistance, advising, and business resources. From startups to established small businesses, our team brought dedication, honesty, and creativity to every client relationship.
Through a variety of alternative lending programs, REDC provided $5,409,447 in financing, leveraging $84,812,432 in additional investment.
This lending helped support local businesses while contributing to the creation of 46 new jobs and the retention of 120 existing jobs. Industries funded included food and beverage, insurance, lawn care, automotive repair, and other specialized services.
Collaboration is key to expanding access to capital. In 2025, we were proud to partner with several commercial lenders to provide critical gap financing and help more entrepreneurs move their plans forward.
REDC invests more than just dollars. Our business advisors provided technical assistance to 247 clients last year. This included specialized support from our Design Advisor, who delivered graphic design, website development, marketing, and photography services to 25 clients.
We also marked four years as the KIVA microloan hub for New Hampshire, supporting businesses through this unique interest-free crowdfunding platform and helping unlock capital for entrepreneurs who face barriers to traditional financing. In 2025, REDC helped attract $70,000 in microloan funding through KIVA.
2025 was our first full year operating the Building Roots Home Fund, and we were pleased to provide financing to three developers to support the creation of 232 new housing rental units in New Hampshire. Ensuring our workforce has access to housing is vital to the success of small businesses and to the strength of our state’s economy.

Last June, REDC finalized the 2025–2029 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for our region. This strategy promotes sustainable economic development and opportunity, fosters effective transportation systems, enhances and protects the environment, and supports responsible growth through sound development planning. This effort was funded through the U.S. Economic Development Administration.
The REDC team looks forward to serving even more New Hampshire entrepreneurs in 2026.
