The Process

To set up a meeting with one of our advisors, please email REDC at, call 603.772.2655, or submit a contact form through our website here.

Advising meetings typically last one hour to one and one-half hours long and are completely free.

For design services, please note:

How much time we can offer each client is based on need and income level, as our mission of serving low- to moderate-income people is how we determine how much assistance we can give. We are able to offer graphic design and website design services to some clients that meet our criteria. Businesses who do not qualify for all services can still receive design advisement, resources, and recommendations from an initial meeting. REDC remains committed to helping as many businesses as possible while holding true to our mission.

Theo Martey started working with REDC’s Business Advisors in 2016, receiving assistance with business planning, financial planning, logo design, and brochure design for The Akwaaba Traditional African Drum and Dance Ensemble. Theo was raised in Ghana, and came to the U.S. in 1999. He became a U.S. citizen in 2005 and is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Ghana.

Theo describes his experience with REDC as a positive one. “The technical assistance was very specific to my business and very helpful. My advisors’ guidance gave me a path to pursue additional opportunities and the confidence that I had for a solid business and marketing plan. I was able to define my marketing strategy and create a plan that I could work on. The Business Advisor helped me refine my ideas and thinking creatively about new ways to grow my business.  The Design Advisor’s work was great; I had been using an outdated logo and they were able to redo my logo to provide an image that is modern and fresh. I could not believe they provided me all these great services.”

Enna Chocolate is a business that is moving from operating in the owner's house to a small factory in Epping, NH. Enna crafts chocolate entirely by hand in micro-batches using ethically sourced cacao. She came to REDC for business planning and was also in need of a marketing video for crowd-funding purposes through Indiegogo.

REDC's design advisor produced a video that helped Enna in raising money for equipment as she grows her business. To date, Enna Chocolate is 90% funded out of the $12,000 goal, after just two weeks. She is expected to exceed her funding goal shortly.

In 2016, Ken Noel approached REDC for design assistance for Shaping Grain, his business as a woodworker, producing cutting boards, bottle openers, cheese platters, business card holders, and more, In need of a logo and website, REDC created a logo for Ken, and taught him how to use, a website building platform, and helped him create a website for his business.

REDC also coached Ken on social media and how to take professional photos of his products, even on a budget.  Today Ken has a high demand of custom orders and sells products in local stores.

REDC received warm words from Ken after the creation of his logo and website:"I want to express my thanks for your valuable guidance through this maze of setting up a new business.  Your technical knowledge and positive support made me confident to get moving. Once I had the business started, I desperately needed help with a logo and your help was professional and more than I ever expected.   I like how you took my ideas and gave me a starting point and then shaped with my feedback to reach exactly what I needed.  I am proud of my logo and show it to everyone I see."
