The Regional Business and Development Training Center is southern New Hampshire’s first business training center to provide a one-stop shop for entrepreneurs, existing businesses, lenders, and community leaders seeking financial and technical assistance to help them stimulate economic activities and community development. The Center’s training classroom, which has been outfitted with interactive presentation technology as well as Wi-Fi internet access, will be available for training sessions sponsored by area business groups, trade associations, and educational institutions. There is also dedicated office space, computers, and a reference library for start-up entrepreneurs to use at no cost.

REDC will use 20 years of proven organizational leadership and project management experience to manage the Center to support emerging companies that embrace the principles of entrepreneurship and technology innovation.  A leader in collaborative and regional ventures, REDC will partner with economic development organizations and local universities to the private sector. The goal of the REDC is to shape the economic horizon by identifying and supporting emerging companies that attract and retain younger workers with high-paying jobs.

REDC was established in 1994 as a non-profit economic development organization with a mission to serve new and growing businesses in Southern NH. The REDC seeks to promote responsible, sustainable economic development activities within the 42 communities that reside in its territory. REDC does this by creating jobs for low to moderate income people, by accessing alternative financing for business and industrial expansion or relocations, which in turn provides tax relief for communities within its region. REDC also provides start up and ongoing technical assistance which supports businesses as they grow.
