The Regional Economic Development Center building has been designed to use the most cost effective, energy efficient designs and materials available. It will be paid for by a combination of the REDC's own funds and grants awarded through a highly competitive process.

The REDC will provide dedicated work space and equipment on an as needed, rather than resident basis, for businesses to use as they grow. The facility will have conference space, including an LCD video monitor for presentations and conference tables and chairs for meetings. These rooms will be available for businesses to use free of charge, enabling them to host clients and vendors in a professional setting.

The building will also allocate space with complete electronic support for training sessions sponsored by area business groups, trade associations and educational institutions. REDC will also provide donated space for a representative of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to counsel area businesses.
